Trucking profit calculator

A $4,000 load isn't a $4,000 load. Plug in the numbers and see what actually hits your account after fuel, tolls, and per-mile truck cost.

Why this matters

Most carriers track revenue. Smart carriers track profit per mile. The difference is the carrier that grows vs. the one that closes after 18 months. This calculator uses the same formula HaulSimple applies automatically to every load you enter.

How the math works

  • Gross = line haul + accessorials
  • Fuel = total miles ÷ MPG × diesel price
  • Truck cost = total miles × cost-per-mile (insurance, payment, maintenance, depreciation)
  • Net = gross − fuel − tolls − truck cost − other
  • Profit / mile = net ÷ loaded miles

Stop guessing at settlement time

With HaulSimple, every load you enter shows this math live. Per truck, per driver, per broker. Try it free.
